About this course

This course gives you the qualification required to apply for a Personal Licence under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, letting you supervise and authorise the sale of alcohol in Scotland.

What you come away with

You will receive the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH). This is mandatory before applying for a Personal Licence in Scotland. Refresher training is required every five years, and the licence itself must be renewed every ten years through your local council.
