About this course

This course gives you the essential skills to work safely and professionally in venues, events and hospitality. You will learn conflict management, physical intervention, customer service, and the legal responsibilities of an SIA Door Supervisor.

Entry requirements

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must hold a valid First Aid certificate. If you do not have one we can arrange Emergency First Aid at Work before your course starts
  • No previous security experience is required

What you come away with

You will receive the official Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry, accredited by Highfield Qualifications (HABC) and approved by the Security Industry Authority. It is accepted throughout the UK. Your certificate does not expire, but SIA licence renewals are required every three years.
