This course is suitable for individuals aspiring to work as security guards or security officers in a wide range of environments, excluding bars, nightclubs, and arenas. Candidates must be aged 18 or over and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. Additionally, learners must hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates receive the HABC Award for Working as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry (Scotland) at SCQF Level 6. This certification meets the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for obtaining an SIA Security Guard Licence, enabling you to pursue employment opportunities as a qualified security operative nationwide.
