Course Content
Our training courses comprise of multiple units and often contain a range of different practical and theory based elements. The contents of all of the courses delivered by Core Security & Training is carefully monitored by regulatory bodies. This means that we can guarantee that when you choose to learn with Core, your training and education is up-to-date and in line with the latest industry requirements.
Your Certification
When you successfully complete the Door Supervisor Training in Glasgow, you will receive the official Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.
This qualification is:
Accredited by Highfield Qualifications (HABC) — a nationally recognised awarding body.
Approved by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) — meeting all requirements for the SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
Accepted throughout the UK, allowing you to work as a Door Supervisor, Security Officer, or Event Security Professional in pubs, clubs, venues, retail, and festivals.
Once certified, you can apply directly to the SIA for your licence and begin working immediately after approval.
If you also need the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification (a current legal requirement before applying for the SIA licence), we can arrange this add-on before your course starts.
Your certificate does not expire, but SIA licence renewals are required every three years.
